Mercury & Soul
Archaeology of the Soul. For those ready to rediscover themselves and live with greater clarity.
A threshold conversation is the first step — a quiet, unhurried talk about where you are, what has accumulated, and what it might feel like to begin.

Mercury & Soul is a life curation and intentional professional organizing practice in Reston, Virginia, serving clients across Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. I work side by side with people moving through life transitions such as downsizing, divorce, retirement, or a move, and with families entrusted with a loved one's home after a loss. Together we sort through heirlooms, photographs, family papers, and the rooms you've been putting off, and decide what to keep, archive, or release, with no pressure either way.
- Preparing to downsize or move
- A parent's or relative's home after a loss
- Family photographs, papers, and heirlooms
- The rooms you've avoided for years
A complimentary video call about where you are, what has accumulated, and what you hope for.
An in-home visit to see the space together, followed by a detailed written proposal.
Hands-on, side by side, at your pace. Nothing leaves without your say.
Every life leaves layers.
The objects on the shelves, the things in the drawers, the boxes that haven't been opened in years — each one holds evidence. Of who you were. Of who you are. What you loved. Who loves you. What you hope for. What you couldn't let go of. What you've forgotten. Some of those objects are talismans — carrying real memory, real identity, real meaning. Some are treasures waiting to be rediscovered, buried under the sediment of busy years. And some are simply what accumulates when life moves fast and intention gets lost along the way.
The work of Mercury & Soul is learning to tell the difference.
